Overview
When I took on full ownership of Alco Designs' email marketing program, the goal was simple: turn a inconsistent send schedule into a reliable, high-performing B2B communication channel. Over the past seven months I've managed every touchpoint — strategy, copywriting, design, building in Constant Contact, list management, and scheduling — with creative direction from the marketing director.
The result is a weekly Tuesday program that consistently outperforms industry benchmarks across every key metric.
The Program
Alco's email audience is a B2B customer base of contractors, distributors, and industry professionals. Every Tuesday, one of four content formats goes out:
Product Campaigns — featured products, new arrivals, and category promotions
Trade Show Invitations — event announcements, booth details, and follow-up communications
Industry Articles — designed digests linking to blog content written by the marketing director
Seasonal & Holiday — timely campaigns tied to the calendar and industry buying cycles
My Role
Full pipeline ownership from brief to send:
Campaign strategy and content planning
